TRIP OVERVIEW

This tour is aimed at documenting the photogenic and most pristine areas of Western Tanzania. Our goal is to take the visitors through extreme and diverse environments, leaving the most experienced traveler breathless.

Part of the way will be done by boat, which means we will have a chance to explore the remote fishing villages and their local population in an incredible aquatic landscape. We will explore Lake Tanganyika and Lake Rukwa where we will witness how the local people live in a symbiotic relationship with the environment.

On this fascinating trip, we will have the chance of living among the remote tribe of Fipa from which we will learn their traditions and way of life. In addition to the urban, village, and tribal scenes we will visit the Gombe and Katavi National Parks, where we will have unique encounters with chimpanzees and other African wildlife, where the world’s foremost expert on chimpanzees Jane Goodall started her studies of primates.
