TRIP OVERVIEW

We are inviting you on a very special journey through one of the most fascinating corners of Tanzania. The itinerary that we crafted for you in collaboration with the renowned photographer Rena Effendi is designed to take you to places that represent a combination of historical landmarks, nature reserves and local cultures. Our itinerary is designed for adventurous travelers and passionate photographers who appreciate the work of Rena Effendi and her personal connection to butterflies.
On this journey with our team of esteemed expert guides and Rena herself, you will discover a vast majority of landscapes, ecosystems, and cultures. Be ready to dive into the majestic and foggy Usambara Mountains and Amani Forest Reserve with one of the biggest diversity of butterfly species in the country, hike in the jungles, enjoy beautiful sunsets, sit at the fire listening to stories from the locals, observe butterflies during the day and the night, feed them, and interact with the local people working at a butterfly farm. On this visit to Tanzania, you can not miss a chance of driving through the legendary Serengeti National Park, which we included in the itinerary. We will be there during a very special time of the Wildebeest and Zebra Great Migration and a calving season, which is truly a fascinating spectacle. In addition to the above, we will immerse ourselves in the rich history of the Swahili Coast in the town of Bagamoyo and visit local fishing villages. We selected a range of accommodations that blend with each particular location and will allow you to have a comfortable rest at the end of each day.
We hope you read the following itinerary with enthusiasm and we look forward to guiding you through this epic adventure!
